Real Estate Photographer and Videographer

Overview

Studio RE is a boutique real estate media company based in New Orleans, and we are expanding our network of independent (1099) photographers throughout the greater New Orleans area. We offer flexible scheduling and competitive pay for motivated professionals who take pride in delivering exceptional work. No photo editing is required.

If you are looking to grow your career as a professional photographer and enjoy working independently while creating high-quality content, this may be a great fit. Previous real estate photography experience is helpful, but not required. Photographers are paid per assignment, with typical compensation ranging from $50 to $200+ per shoot depending on the services ordered. Most appointments take about an hour, and photographers may complete several appointments in a day.

At Studio RE, we specialize in creating elevated, editorial-style media for residential and historic properties. Our services include photography, drone media, floor plans, 3D tours, and video content designed to help agents and brokers showcase listings with maximum impact.

Key Requirements

Professionally photograph and film residential and commercial properties, highlighting their best features with attention to lighting, composition, and detail
Minimum of 1 year of professional photography experience
Professional full frame camera with at least 24 megapixels and a professional-grade tripod
Wide-angle zoom lens in the 12 to 24mm or 14 to 24mm range
Reliable transportation
Familiarity with exposure bracketing (additional training provided)
Ability to follow Studio RE shooting standards and workflows
Availability to accept assignments during weekdays and occasional weekends
Excellent communication and customer service skills with a polished and professional demeanor

Additional Skills

Our team members are trained in photography, videography, 3D tours, and drone operations. Experience with video production, 3D cameras, floor plans, and aerial photography is a plus, but we are happy to train the right candidates.
