No Professional Photography Experience Required!

JI Media Group is a growing, family-owned real estate media company serving Houston and surrounding areas. We help real estate agents market their listings through professional photography, video, drone, 3D tours, and other marketing services.

We're looking for someone who wants more than just a job. We're looking for someone who wants to learn, grow, and become an important part of our team.

Pay & GrowthDuring Training

$20/hour approximately 3 weeks

You'll receive paid training and learn our systems, equipment, photography workflow, and client experience standards.

After Training

Once you've successfully completed training and can confidently handle shoots on your own, there is room for a pay increase based on performance, skill level, reliability, and obtaining your drone license.

Mileage reimbursement is provided for travel between appointments once you are independently handling your own shoots.

No Photography Experience? That's Okay.

You Have to Be Comfortable Driving

Let's be upfront:

There is a LOT of driving involved.

You'll travel to properties throughout Houston and surrounding areas, sometimes going from one appointment directly to another.

If you enjoy being on the road, listening to music or podcasts, meeting new people, and having a different day every day, you'll probably enjoy this job.

If you hate driving, this probably isn't the job for you.

A reliable vehicle and valid driver's license are required.

Flexible Schedule

We understand that everyone has different schedules, which is why we offer flexibility in choosing the days you're available to work based on our scheduling needs.

Occasionally, you may be asked to help cover a shift or take an appointment when another team member is unavailable. Because of this, flexibility, communication, and teamwork are very important to our team.

We want to work with your schedule while also being able to count on you when the team needs your help. As our business grows, there is potential for additional hours and opportunities.

Customer Service Is EVERYTHING

You will often be the face of JI Media Group when you arrive at a property.

You'll interact directly with:

We believe a great photo is important—but a great client experience is what brings the client back.

What You'll Do

Your typical day may include:

Driving to residential properties throughout the Houston areaPhotographing homes / propertiesCapturing video walkthroughsLearning and following our proven shooting processCapturing exterior and interior listing mediaUploading media after appointmentsCommunicating with our team throughout the dayProviding an exceptional experience for our clientsLearning drone operations and eventually obtaining your FAA Part 107 licenseYou will NOT be responsible for editing the photos or videos.

Your job is to capture great content and provide a great experience.

Drone Experience Is a Plus — But NOT Required

Already have your FAA Part 107 drone license?

Awesome! That's a big plus.

Don't have one?

That's completely okay.

We're looking for someone who is interested in learning drone photography and eventually becoming licensed.

We will help you learn the process and develop the skills necessary to add drone services to your skill set.
