GSM Media is a locally and family-owned real estate media company serving real estate professionals throughout San Antonio and surrounding areas. We are looking for an experienced Real Estate Photographer/Videographer to join our team.

This position is best suited for someone who already has multiple years of hands-on photography experience and is confident operating a professional camera and working independently. Previous real estate photography or real estate media experience is strongly preferred.

This is not an entry-level photography position. Professional photography experience is required. Please do not apply if you do not have substantial hands-on experience operating a professional camera.
We provide the equipment needed for this position. You are not required to own your own professional camera equipment; however, you are expected to already understand professional camera operation, photography fundamentals, and manual camera settings.

What You'll Do

Photograph residential real estate listings
Capture real estate video as trained and assigned
Travel to properties throughout San Antonio and surrounding areas
Work independently at properties once training is completed
Follow GSM Media's specific photography, video, and property-capture standards
Assess rooms and determine appropriate composition and angles
Pay close attention to lighting, blinds, fans, reflections, room presentation, and other property details
Ensure all required rooms, angles, and requested shots are captured before leaving a property
Manage your schedule and arrive prepared and on time for appointments
Communicate clearly with our team regarding appointments, properties, and any issues that arise
Interact professionally and confidently with real estate agents, homeowners, tenants, and others on-site
Receive feedback and consistently apply it to future work

Required Qualifications

Multiple years of hands-on professional photography experience
Strong understanding of professional camera operation
Ability to work independently without constant supervision
Strong attention to detail
Dependable, punctual, and communicative
Ability to follow established processes and technical standards
Ability to accept and apply constructive feedback
Comfortable making appropriate decisions independently while on-site
Reliable transportation
Comfortable driving frequently between appointments
Comfortable being on your feet and moving throughout properties for extended periods
Professional appearance and communication when representing GSM Media

Strongly Preferred

Previous professional real estate photography experience
Experience photographing residential interiors and exteriors
Experience with HDR or bracketed photography
Real estate videography or walkthrough video experience
Drone photography or videography experience
FAA Part 107 certification
Experience with Zillow 3D, floor plans, or other real estate media
Portfolio demonstrating professional real estate, architectural, or interior photography

Equipment & Training
GSM Media provides the photography equipment required for this position.
Even experienced photographers will receive training on our specific equipment, photography standards, property workflow, client expectations, and other services.

Training is intended to teach you our process and standards — not photography fundamentals. Applicants should already be comfortable operating a professional camera before applying.

Schedule & Work Volume

Hours are not guaranteed. Appointment volume varies based on our clients' schedules and business needs, so the number of hours and appointments may vary from week to week.

This position may be a good fit for someone looking for flexible or supplemental photography work and who is comfortable with a schedule that changes based on appointment volume.

The position requires frequent travel to different properties throughout San Antonio and surrounding areas.

Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
