The reporter/photographer also assists in pre-press production, website development and internet social media dissemination, and other newspaper tasks as directed by the editor. · Reports and writes a variety of news and feature stories for the Hawaii Catholic Herald about the Catholic Church in Hawaii as assigned by the editor. · Serves as the primary photographer for the Hawaii Catholic Herald, taking photos to accompany stories, and as stand-alone photo features. · Assists the editor in producing the Hawaii Catholic Herald website. · Assists the editor in other online ways of promoting, distributing and disseminating the content of the newspaper through social media and other digital means.
