Residential Photography Director at CoStar Group in Richmond, VA

As the Director, Residential Photography, you will build a world-class team of leaders and photographers that will redefine the residential real estate marketplace. You will demonstrate your leadership, adaptability, creativity, strategic-thinking, communication, and analytical skills by building careers for those in your group and serving CoStar Group customers. The managers in your group will thrive alongside you in Richmond, VA as they build and empower their teams of full-time photographers. RESPONSIBILITIES Build, train, mentor, and coach a growing team of 10 top quality professional leaders Lead the team in the creation of style guides to elevate the quality and consistency of photography and videography captured for residential real estate and surrounding communities Establish media, drone, and data collection capabilities for one of the largest private drone fleets in the world Leverage team to capture imagery to market neighborhoods across the United States to consumers looking for their next homes Work closely with agents and brokers to expertly market their real estate Identifying new technologies and styles to implement marketing media strategies Review incoming media and data from individual contributors to determine its quality relative to standards and guidelines Provide constructive and actionable feedback to team members to meet both production and quality expectations Create strategic action plans to help team members build leadership skills as well as technical abilities Communicate and collaborate with clients and internal leaders to resolve issues and assess needs for future operational improvements and innovation Travel quarterly about the US required to support team growth BASIC QUALIFICATIONS 7 years of leading, managing, training, or otherwise being responsible for the success of a team Success in building strong, cohesive teams by leading and motivating towards action/execution through influence and collaboration Demonstrated success leading business planning processes with business case development and budget management experience Leadership and management skills, including the ability to prioritize and control workload of a team, coaching, and mentoring through professional development Bachelor's degree PREFERRED QUALIFCATIONS AND SKILLS Experience leading a team of people managers Experience with creating effective KPIs and meeting performance metrics, being results-oriented Demonstrated professional photography and/or media capture experience Experience and demonstrated proficiency with Excel that includes the ability to manipulate data, filter, and develop basic formulas.
