Sales and Marketing Assistant

MTECH Incorporated is actively looking for an experienced sales and marketing assistant to join our growing fire and rescue apparatus business here in Chico. The Sales and Marketing Assistant will be responsible for supporting the sales team by answering phones and emails, entering orders, building sales quotations, customer follow-up and customer management, as well as assisting with marketing efforts. Marketing duties will consist of generating and scheduling social media content and writing copy for printed material in partnership with internal staff and external consultants. Primarily working in an office, the sales and marketing assistant will spend time on the factory floor, interfacing with customers and vendors, leading meetings and preparing presentations. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years product sales experience, a bachelors degree or equivalent in a related field, working knowledge of Microsoft office software, experience with photoshop and related software and a thorough understanding of social media platforms.
