Role Description
We are seeking a talented Freelance Professional Photographer based in SAN FRANCISCO to specialize in capturing family and couples in reportage-style photography. This on-site role involves photographing clients in natural, spontaneous moments that tell their unique stories. You will work closely with clients to plan shoots, create personalized experiences, and curate images that reflect their personalities and emotions. This freelance role offers flexibility and the opportunity to collaborate with a global network of professionals.
Qualifications
• Proficient in Family and Couple Photography, with experience in reportage or candid style
• Technical expertise in camera operation, lighting, and photo editing software (e.g., Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop)
• Strong interpersonal skills to engage and create a comfortable environment for clients
• Ability to plan and organize photoshoots, including location scouting and timeline management
• A portfolio that demonstrates creativity, versatility, and experience with professional photography
• Own professional-grade photography equipment (e.g., camera bodies, lenses, lighting, and other essentials)
• Knowledge of the SAN FRAN area, including iconic and lesser-known locations suitable for shoots
• Fluency in English required; additional language skills, especially Japanese, are a plus
• Experience working in the travel, lifestyle, or luxury photography sectors is an advantage
