Peak Season Portraits runs a holiday Pictures with Santa experience at Citadel Outlets. We’re looking for a warm, quick-thinking photographer to capture families’ favorite holiday memory of the year, one kid (and one meltdown) at a time.

What you’ll do

Photograph children, families, and the occasional pet with Santa in a fast-paced, high-volume setGet genuine smiles from shy, nervous, or crying kids, with patience and a sense of humorPose families quickly and naturally to keep the line moving without making anyone feel rushedRun a tethered Canon setup and keep images flowing to our viewing and print stationTroubleshoot gear, software, and connection issues on the fly, often with a line waitingKeep the set, lighting, and equipment clean, safe, and camera-readyWork alongside our print/register team and elves to create a smooth, joyful guest experienceWhat we’re looking for

Experience photographing children (school, portrait studio, Santa, events, or similar)Strong working knowledge of Canon cameras, including manual exposure, focus, and flash/strobe settingsComfortable with computers and new software; tethering experience (e.g. Capture One) is a plusCalm problem-solver who stays friendly and focused under pressureExcellent communication with parents and kidsReliable, punctual, and team-orientedBilingual English/Spanish is a big plusSchedule

Season runs November 28 – December 23, 2026, mainly Thursday–Sunday with some added weekdays in the final stretchPaid training in late November 23-24Must be available Black Friday weekend and most weekends in DecemberPhysical requirements
Able to stand for most of a shift, kneel or crouch to kids’ eye level, and lift up to 25 lbs of equipment.
