School and Sports Photographer

About Us:

We are a well-established school photography company specializing in yearbook portraits and youth sports photography. We are currently hiring Seasonal School Photographers to join our team for the upcoming school seasons. If you're energetic, reliable, and enjoy working with children, this is a great opportunity to grow your skills in a fun and rewarding environment.

Seasonal Work Periods:

Fall Season: August – December
Spring Season: January – April

What You’ll Do:

Photograph students for school yearbooks and sports programs
Travel to various school campuses across Houston and nearby areas
Set up and break down photography equipment
Interact with students and staff in a professional and friendly manner
Maintain punctuality and a positive attitude at all times

Requirements:

Reliable, insured transportation with space to transport photography equipment
Comfortable driving to multiple schools throughout the Greater Houston area
Must be available for early morning shifts (typically starting around 6:00–7:00 AM)
Must be able to lift and carry photography equipment (up to 30 lbs)
Must be comfortable working outdoors (for sports photography) in warm weather
Light photography experience preferred – training provided
Must enjoy working with children and maintain a positive demeanor
Must be able to pass a background check
Occasional weekend availability is a plus

Compensation & Benefits:

Starting at $15.00 per hour
Paid training
All equipment provided
Mileage reimbursement at $0.30/mile
Travel time and tolls compensated (paid every 2 weeks)

Schedule:

Monday to Friday
Day shifts (early morning through early afternoon)
Some weekends as needed

Work Location:

On the road (Houston metro area and surrounding suburbs)
