School Photographer

Duties • Set up and operate professional camera equipment to photograph students, staff, and school events with precision and creativity • Manage lighting, backgrounds, and staging to ensure optimal image quality and consistency across sessions • Edit and enhance photographs using industry-standard software such as Adobe Lightroom, Adobe Photoshop, Capture One, and other Adobe Creative Suite tools • Perform color management and photo manipulation to achieve accurate skin tones, vibrant colors, and polished final images • Coordinate with school staff to schedule photo sessions efficiently while maintaining a friendly, approachable demeanor with students of all ages • Conduct post-production work including cropping, retouching, color correction, and preparing images for printing or digital distribution • Film short videos or capture footage for school projects or social media content using videography tools like Adobe Premiere or Final Cut Pro • Collaborate on art direction to ensure images align with the school's branding and visual standards • Manage social media accounts by selecting compelling images and videos to engage the community effectively Experience • Proven experience in photography with a strong portfolio demonstrating portraiture, event coverage, or school photography projects • Skilled in photo editing, manipulation, and post-production techniques using Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, Capture One, or similar software • Knowledge of color theory and color management principles to produce consistent high-quality images across different devices and formats • Experience filming videos or creating multimedia content for social media platforms or promotional materials • Familiarity with videography equipment such as cameras, lighting setups, tripods, and microphones • Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment • Strong communication skills to interact positively with students, parents, teachers, and school administrators Join us as a School Photographer where your artistic talent meets your technical expertise!
