School Photographer

Job OverviewSeasonal School Photographer position with JostensPIX starting July 21, 2026. Must reside in Springfield, MO or surrounding areas. No photography experience required. ResponsibilitiesCapture genuine smiles and school memories.Use personal vehicle to travel to local schools for picture day events.Transport, set up, and take down photography equipment at school locations.Use photo software to organize and manage images.Build hands‑on photography experience in a dynamic, fast‑paced setting.QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED (must be 18 +).Reliable, insured vehicle and valid U.S. driver’s license (public transportation not permitted).Willingness to start early (4 AM) and work occasional extended hours when traveling.Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs of camera equipment.Ability to store camera equipment at home when not in use.Cheerful, friendly personality—especially around children.Comfortable working in a school environment with children of all ages and abilities.Strong communication, customer‑service, and technical skills.Comfortable working independently for smaller events after training.Proficiency with computers/cameras and ability to learn new programs.Professional grooming and appearance reflecting Jostens standards.Reliable cell phone and internet access.May be required to complete additional background/health screenings per state policy.BenefitsCompetitive pay: $18‑20 per hour.401(k) match eligibility from Day 1.Seasonal flexibility: work through November (possible extension into December).Average 30+ hours per week with overtime during peak weeks.Paid training included.Paid travel time and mileage reimbursement.Promotion potential to Photo Team Lead with extra $1/hour.DailyPay option for daily compensation.Access to discounts on insurance, travel, pet care, and more.Application Deadline: July 21, 2026.
