BJK Photos, Central New York’s leading school photography company, is hiring Seasonal School Photographers for Fall 2025. We’re a locally owned company that’s big enough to get the job done right — but small enough to truly care about every employee and customer.

Benefits:

$20–$23 per hour

Responsibilities:

Travel to schools within a 150-mile radius of Oneida, NY
Set up and tear down photo-day equipment
Photograph PreK–12 students in a professional, friendly, and efficient manner
Create a positive experience for students, school staff, and families
Represent BJK Photos with reliability, professionalism, and enthusiasm

Qualifications:

Valid U.S. driver’s license and reliable, insured vehicle
Ability to work early mornings (as early as 6:00 AM)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Friendly and confident working with children
Able to lift and/or move 45 pounds of equipment
Comfortable working independently once trained
Professional appearance and demeanor
Reliable cell phone and internet access

Job Schedule:

Season starts: Late August 2025
Season ends: Early December 2025
Workdays: Weekdays (no weekends)
Start times: Typically between 6:00 - 7:00 AM
Hours: Varies, often finished by early afternoon

Job Type: Temporary

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
