About the position

JostensPIX is seeking seasonal School Photographers to join their team. This role involves capturing school memories, traveling to local schools, and setting up photography equipment. No prior photography experience is required, as comprehensive training will be provided. The position offers seasonal flexibility, with work typically running from August through November, potentially extending into December. Successful candidates will use their personal vehicle for travel and will be reimbursed for travel time and mileage.

Capture genuine smiles and priceless school memoriesUse personal vehicle to travel to local schools and support picture dayTransport, set up, and take down photography equipment at school locations for photo day eventsUse photo software to organize and manage imagesBuild hands-on photography experience in a dynamic, fast-paced settingTravel to schools, as scheduled, for photo day eventsRequirements

High school diploma or GED (must be 18+)A reliable, insured vehicle and valid U.S. driver’s licenseWillingness to start early (driving start times as early as 4 AM!) and occasional extended hours when travel is involved.Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. of camera equipmentAbility to store camera equipment in home when not in useA cheerful, friendly personality – especially around kidsComfortable working in a school environment with children of all ages and abilitiesStrong communication, customer service, and tech skillsComfort working independently for smaller events after trainingComfortable working with computers / cameras and ability to learn new programsGrooming and professional appearance that reflects Jostens’ standardsReliable cell phone and internet accessMust reside in Springfield, MA or surrounding area.Nice-to-haves
