(Seasonal) Entry Level Photographer and Videographer

Tentative Start and End Date: January 5 - April 30 (seasonal, part time) (some weekends required)

MVS Photography is a fast-growing creative photography division of MVS Creative Media, specializing in sports league picture days, school portraits, action photography, event photography and videography, for youth and high school athletes. Unlike traditional school studios, MVS Photography thrives in fast-paced, dynamic environments and works closely with sports organizations and schools to deliver polished, professional images on time.

Our team is made up of photographers who are passionate about storytelling, detail-oriented, and thrive working on location. Weekends are our high-demand times, and we are seeking enthusiastic individuals who want to grow within the sports and event photography industry.

About the Role:

We are hiring friendly, dependable, and detail-focused photographers to assist with sports league picture days, school portraits, and action photo coverage. Whether you're an experienced pro or a motivated beginner ready to learn, you'll be supported by a collaborative team that values professionalism and creativity. We provide equipment, training, and room to grow!

Responsibilities:

Capture team and individual portraits at various sports leagues and school locations.
Set up and break down photo equipment including lighting, backdrops, and posing aids.
Engage with kids, parents, and coaches to create a smooth, enjoyable photo experience.
Photograph live-action sports during games when assigned.
Maintain a professional and enthusiastic attitude on-site.
Ensure accurate photo data entry and image file handling.

Requirements:

Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Must be available for weekend shifts, with some weekday availability preferred.
Able to lift 40 lbs, move gear, and stand for extended periods.
Enjoy working with children, parents, and diverse community groups.
Able to follow detailed instructions and manage time efficiently.
Basic knowledge of DSLR or mirrorless camera operations preferred—but we’ll train the right person!

Bonus If You Have:

Previous experience in sports, school, or volume photography.
Background in Lightroom, Capture One, or other image processing software.
Interest in creative design, media, or event production (great for future growth with MVS Creative Media).
