Artkive is in the middle of our busy season and looking for photographers who can work independently to take high-quality images of the artwork and schoolwork submitted by our customers. The ideal candidate will: • Have a bachelor's degree in digital photography, graphic design, or related field • Be proficient in Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom • Be a quick study, able to learn and stay up to date with our photography protocols and best practices • Have keen attention to detail and excellent organizational skills, able to following all of the steps of Artkive's photography process to deliver the best possible outcome for our customers • Work efficiently and independently to process a high volume of images • Be a team player with an excellent attitude, open to feedback This is a full-time, temporary position beginning in June 2024 with an estimated end date of February 2025. We are looking for candidates who can commit 30-40 hours per week through the fall, with the possibility of continuing in a full or part-time role in winter. The core of our current business is the Artkive Box service, where a parent orders a box, fills it with their children's artwork, and ships it to our Los Angeles-based facility to be photographed and preserved.
