Description / Position Overview
SEASONAL - Photographer (PT Park Support)

About the Job: Evergreen and Fairview Cemeteries are seeking a photographer to capture photographs of all memorials in the two cemeteries.

Job Type: Seasonal, April through October

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 am - 4 pm

Work Location: 1005 Hancock Expressway, Colorado Springs, CO
This is a seasonal (at-will) position with benefits limited to those required by applicable state and federal laws, which include Worker's Compensation, Medicare, Unemployment Insurance, and PERA (Public Employees' Retirement Association). Approximate dates of employment will be March- October 2026. Scheduled hours will vary based on department needs. Total hours worked will not exceed 1,500 annually.
As a photographer, you will:
• Capture high-quality images of headstones, grave markers, and other memorials
• Photograph entire cemetery sections, plots, or specific graves to assist in the preservation of cemetery records, especially for digital databases or websites
• Take photos of memorial services or funerals upon request, capturing moments for families who wish to have lasting memories
• Photograph gravestones or memorials that may require restoration or repairs to document their current state for future reference
• Post-process images to ensure clarity, color accuracy, and proper resolution, particularly when preparing images for publication or archival use
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications
• Prior experience photographing cemetery memorials
• Provide a portfolio of previous work

Additional Information
This position will require working outside in all weather conditions.
