Seasonal School and Sports Photographer

WHO WE ARE:

Kemmetmueller Photography Inc. is a family-owned photography studio who specializes in school and sports photography. We are searching for exceptionally talented and motivated photographers who enjoy working with school-aged children. Our rapidly expanding studio needs additional staff to help maintain and execute our photography schedules.

We operate throughout the greater Twin-Cities Metro Area. We accept applications from throughout the metro area, but we are looking for people to work in the following areas: Elk River, Rogers, Osseo, Maple Grove, Edina, Burnsville, Lakeville, Woodbury, Wayzata.

Must be able to start early August.

This is a seasonal in-person position to help supplement our full-time photographers. Our fall school and youth sports season is from August to Thanksgiving. Hours may vary depending on photoshoot schedule and availability.

JOB DUTIES:- Set and test equipment prior to the photoshoot (equipment provided)- Take student/athlete portraits in a fun and active environment with kids of all ages- After the photoshoot, ensure all photos make it back to the studio, and all equipment is disassembled.- Travelling to area schools and sites from the comfort of their own vehicle- Paid photography training to improve skills and experience

WHAT YOU BRING:- 1+ years of photography experience preferred (training provided upon hire)- Strong oral communication skills- Adaptability -- able to think on your feet- Professional yet personable demeanor- A fun, can-do attitude and a strong work ethic- Experience working with children is preferred- Education: High school or equivalent- Ability to lift and operate camera equipment up to 50 lbs.- Fluency in English, other languages like Spanish may be helpful!

Pay is $22/hour, with a $3/hour retention bonus if you stay through Thanksgiving!
