Seasonal School Portrait Photographer

A typical day may include traveling to a school or sports venue, setting up backgrounds and lighting, photographing students or athletes, loading and unloading equipment from your vehicle, returning to the studio, backing up image files, and preparing equipment for the next assignment. This is a production photography role. Milan Rose provides the required work equipment, including cameras, lighting, flashes, backgrounds, and related photography gear. Photograph senior portraits, school portraits, and sports portraitsTravel to schools and local venues for assigned shootsSet up, adjust, and break down photography equipmentTransport company photography equipment in your personal vehicle to and from assigned locationsWork efficiently with children, teenagers, families, and school staffFollow Milan Rose workflows for image capture, organization, backup, and job handoffReturn to the studio after shoots to back up photos, check equipment, and prepare for the next assignmentCommunicate clearly with the Photography Manager and studio teamMaintain a professional, friendly presence on locationRequirements Photography experience required, preferably portraits, school, sports, or eventsFamiliarity with Canon camera systems required; strong DSLR or mirrorless camera experience required.Comfortable working quickly with large groupsStrong people skills, especially with children and teenagersReliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and auto insuranceAbility to lift and transport equipment up to 40 lbsAvailable full-time Monday through Friday from late May through approximately mid-to-late NovemberWillingness to work early mornings during peak school seasonOrganized, punctual, and able to follow a repeatable workflowEmployment is contingent upon successful completion of a background checkWhat we provide
