Shoreside Hospitality Supervisor

Supervisors coordinate timeliness and safety of the boarding and disembarkation of guests on board vessels, assist guests with ticketing/reservations and general questions, and assist in training needs as directed by the Manager -Responsible for providing excellent customer service by greeting guests in a positive, friendly and professional manner -Responsible for training all crew members in Shoreside Hospitality job functions, through coaching and feedback. -Responsible for assisting the Manager and Director for providing direction and expectations daily to crew members within the department, manage crew tasks and lunches for the day, and assign crew to travel to satellite locations. -Responsible for processing guest reservations over the phone and being able to answer all guest questions regarding Argosy products; noting any special needs/accommodations of guests in the reservation system -Responsible for coordinating boarding, crowd control and taking boarding photography of all guests; ensuring the guests are safely able to navigate the pier, floating docks and ramps -Responsible for achieving sales goals for photo sales and ticket sales -Responsible for making clear and concise announcements over PA system to announce upcoming cruises, promotions, boarding information, and weather permitted cruises -Follows company cash handling procedures, reconciling daily cash transactions after each tour to ensure that amounts balance appropriately -Assist ADA guests down ramps in accordance with Argosy’s safety procedures -Follow safety guidelines for cleaning restrooms and responding to BBP according to Argosy safety procedures -Other duties as assigned Job Requirements and Qualifications:
