Social Media Coordinator - Hog Island Oyster Co - FT w full benefits

This position is based out of our Marshall headquarters, but will be primarily remote with regular Bay Area travel. We take care and effort hand raising sustainable shellfish, which we proudly serve at our farm on Tomales Bay and our restaurants in Marshall, San Francisco, Napa, and Larkspur. **What we provide:** •Competitive pay •Generous medical and dental plans •401k retirement plan with Company matching funds •Pre-tax Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) •Paid meal period, vacation & sick time •Paid time to volunteer in the community •Employee discounts **What we require:** •Teamwork •1-2 years experience in marketing •Valid CA Driver's License and reliable transportation •Strong understanding of marketing fundamentals, social media, email marketing, and experience running social media accounts (Instagram, Facebook, Tik Tok, Twitter and Pinterest) •Experience with social media management platforms (such as Later, Hootsuite) •Experience using Dropbox, Google Suite and project management software (such as Monday, Trello or similar) •Basic video-editing, photography and design skills in Adobe Creative Suite •Exceptional written and verbal communication skills •Comfortable writing blog and social posts •A sharp, creative eye for photography and design •Practical knowledge of the food, hospitality and/or aquaculture industry strongly preferred •Occasionally requires to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel and lift up to 20 lbs **What you'll be doing:** •Create written and visual communications in a "Hog Island" voice •Daily content creation and posting across all Hog Island platforms •Manage community engagement and organize user generated content •Travel 20% of the time to local Bay Area locations •Support the Creative Marketing Manager with weekly campaigns, maintaining the marketing calendar, influencer collaborations and giveaways •Complete administrative tasks as needed, and other duties as assigned At Hog Island Oyster Co. we stand for oysters, diversity and equality!
