Social Media & Digital Marketing Intern/ Part-time/ Virtual

Roots & Bloom Skin Care (www.shoprootsandbloom.com) is searching for a Part- Time Social Media and Digital Marketing Intern. If you have a strong interest in skincare and beauty and are skilled at creating engaging content, then we are interested in working with you! REQUIRED DUTIES: • Manage social media account • Create, Schedule & plan out content for social media, including Instagram, YouTube & Tik Tok • Help create weekly newsletters • Work to increase engagement and drive website traffic through social channels • Initiate and Manage community building DESIRED SKILLS: • A good eye for photography & graphic design • Responsive/Organized & Self-Motivated • Knowledge and experience with the primary social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and Tik Tok • Good writing skills for creating captions • The ability to engage and build community through social media while staying on brand • Must know how to create aesthetic, eye-catching graphics and edit photos & videos • Some experience with Canva & graphic design apps • A background in marketing, communications, journalism, photography and/or graphic design is a plus LOCATION: This is a remote position. HOURS – approximately 10-15 per week. COMPENSATION: Small monthly stipend and/or College Credit can be applied.
