Social Media Intern

JOB DESCRIPTION The Social Media Marketing Intern will collaborate with the Director of Marketing on content creation, social media posting (LinkedIN) and graphic design. Ideally this individual is creative, driven and vibrant and is excited to enter a small, start-up company and is not shy to wear multiple hats and try new and fun strategies. There will be ample opportunity to help coordinate and direct new video and image content, so a background knowledge of film and editing is encouraged. RESPONSIBILITIES Collect quantitative and qualitative data from marketing campaigns Perform market analysis and research on competition Support the marketing team in daily administrative tasks Assist in marketing and advertising promotional activities (e.g. social media, direct mail and web) Prepare promotional presentations Help distribute marketing materials Manage and update company database and customer relationship management systems (CRM) Help organize trade show marketing events REQUIREMENTS Strong desire to learn along with professional drive Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent knowledge of MS Office Experience with Photoshop & iMovie Experience with social media platforms - specifically LinkedIN Current enrollment in a related BS or Masters degree Job type: Part Time Pay: $10.00 - $15.00 per hour based on experience
