Social Media Manager

We are seeking an individual who has worked previously in a corporate environment and is a proactive problem solver, a strategic thinker, and highly communicative with superior writing and editing skills and a strong customer service mindset. The successful candidate will be working as a team member in our West Loop corporate office. Essential Functions · Develop copywriting and execute content strategies for social media channels and related marketing deliverables · Create a comprehensive social editorial calendar to promote and optimize content that resonates with our various customers · Daily maintenance of social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and other channels · Respond and engage with comments and messages on social media channels in a timely manner and monitor public conversations via a listening platform to identify opportunities to amplify our brand · Flag potential issues and alert stakeholders and/or develop action plans and responses as appropriate · Actively monitor social media trends and best practices, delivering insights to drive continuous improvement and reinvestment strategies · Continuously develop, design, and execute targeted email marketing campaigns · Analytics and reporting for digital marketing platforms · General photography of case studies, company events, and personnel headshots · Create and develop unique content and work with the Graphics Department Manager in the planning, production, and execution of photography and video shoots · Develop strategies for paid social advertising needs Additional Responsibilities · Graphic design and multimedia support · Print production support for seminars, events, and special projects · Basic web editing and content development a plus. a plus ·Experience analyzing data, identifying trends, summarizing results and making recommendations based on findings a plus ·Creative eye for engaging and aesthetically pleasing content ·Excellent attitude and interpersonal & networking skills – you can enter a room of strangers and talk to anyone ·Project management excellence; attention to details; keep commitments big and small ·Experience working in an industrial environment is desired.
