Social Media, Marketing & Events Manager

New Hire Part Time Position (20 hours per week) Compensation $26k + Commission on Events Overview: This is a new position for our company. We are looking for a candidate that can help us refine and grow this role with an understanding that they will play a big part in its creation, ongoing success and potential move to full time. You would be working with a team that owns five other hospitality operations in the Bay Area and is looking to continue to expand and build in the Bay and beyond. Experience and Requirements: \\- Flexible schedule to allow for interacting with the business, team and events schedule \\- Experience with and a strong grasp of social media is essential \\- Confident self-starter - while this position will work directly with the rest of our team, it is predominantly a self driven role \\- Strong Bay Area network to facilitate event bookings \\- Experience in outbound event sales and bookings \\- Ability for learning and navigating software and apps \\- Organized, on time and responsive communication \\- A passion for creating experiences and going the extra mile \\- Experience and knowledge of the hospitality industry is preferred but not required \\- Digital Marketing experience \\- Photography experience a plus \\- A passion for sports is a plus, but not essential Responsibilities: \\- Social media management \\- Email list/CRM management \\- Marketing \\- Communications (email, facebook, instagram messaging) \\- Online presence management (Yelp, Google Reviews, Search Engine, Other) \\- Marketing, booking and managing events If you are interested in the position please email us with a cover letter detailing why you would be a good fit for this role along with a copy of your resume.
