The ideal candidate should be comfortable filming and photographing on location, following creative direction, and capturing clean, usable content for social media, websites, ads, and marketing campaigns. Capture photo and video content on location Film short-form video clips for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn Take high-quality photos for social media posts, stories, ads, websites, and marketing materials Follow shot lists, creative direction, and content themes Capture behind-the-scenes, product, lifestyle, team, event, and brand content Organize and deliver captured files after each shoot Communicate clearly with the team before, during, and after shoots Represent the company professionally while working with clients on location Has experience capturing social media content Has a strong portfolio of photography and/or videography work Understands what types of visuals work well on social platforms Is comfortable filming people, products, businesses, and live environments Can work independently while following creative direction Is dependable, organized, and professional Has a good eye for lighting, framing, movement, and storytelling Is open to feedback and interested in growing with the role Portfolio required to be considered Experience capturing social media photo and/or video content Ability to travel to locations in and around Grand Rapids Reliable transportation Availability for part-time, project-based hours Own camera gear is preferred but not required Basic understanding of social media content formats is a plus This is a part-time role with limited hours to start.
