Special Event Photographer - May Commencements

Come join our amazing team to photograph commencements this Spring! We work as a team of 2-4 photographers attending Graduations & Pr Events. Typical event runs 2 hrs, however, we must arrive 2 hrs prior to start so 4 hrs total (sometimes less). Also, when possible, photographers may be booked for multiple events in a day. No image editing, we provide media and equipment. Travel expenses covered. Arrive timely & professionally dressed (dark suit please). Get ready to learn a lot!

Coverage Consists of :

Photographing each graduate as they cross stage (yes, moving targets),
Ceremony highlights, speakers and candids of graduates.
Attention to detail, when completing paperwork and packing up the job. Accurate and pleasant shooting skills while communicating with graduates in the flow.

Required Event Dates : May 8th, May 9th , May 15th and May 16th

Additional Events Dates: May 17th, May 19th, May24th More dates are available in lower NY if you’re willing to travel. The events cover the Syracuse, Rochester and Buffalo Areas

Essential Abilities & Skills

Detail oriented and solid communication skills to interact with Adminis & Students.
Energetic , happy, upbeat style. (these are celebratory events)
The ability to be on time,
A dark suit (conservative look)
Your own vehicle to travel to various campuses.
Photo skills are important but people skills matter more!
