Job Overview

Picture Pros Photography is hiring local photographers for a two day paid assignment at The Rapids Classic youth soccer tournament in the Denver Metro Area.

This position combines photography and customer interaction across two event days.

Saturday, August 22: Photograph assigned youth soccer teams and players throughout the tournament.

Sunday, August 23: Work on site with athletes and families to help them view, select, and purchase their event photographs.

This is a great fit for someone who enjoys photography, sports, working with people, and a fast moving outdoor event environment.

Editing and post production are handled by Picture Pros.

Compensation

Guaranteed pay of $400 total for completing both days
Equivalent to $200 per day
Opportunity to earn 20% commission on qualifying event photo sales
If your earned commission exceeds the $400 guaranteed event pay, you will receive the higher commission amount
The $400 guarantee and commission are not added together
Traditional employee benefits are not offered for this short term event contract assignment

Saturday Responsibilities

Photograph assigned youth soccer teams and players
Capture clear, properly composed, saleable photographs
Follow the assigned tournament schedule and coverage plan
Move efficiently between assigned fields and teams
Communicate with Picture Pros event leadership throughout the day
Handle and maintain your camera equipment responsibly

Sunday Responsibilities

Work directly with athletes and families at the Picture Pros sales area
Help customers locate and review their event photographs
Explain available photo products and purchasing options
Provide friendly, professional customer service
Actively engage families and assist with photo sales
Work with the Picture Pros team to keep the sales area organized and running efficiently

Requirements

Must be available for the full event shift on both Saturday, August 22 and Sunday, August 23
Must provide your own DSLR or mirrorless camera
Reliable transportation to tournament locations in the Aurora and Denver Metro Area
Comfortable working outdoors for extended periods
Able to stand and walk for much of the day
Comfortable approaching and speaking with athletes, parents, and families
Reliable, punctual, and able to follow an assigned schedule
Strong communication and customer service skills

Sports photography experience is preferred, but strong photography fundamentals, reliability, and the ability to work well with people are equally important.

Sales or customer service experience is a plus.

Tournament Locations

Assignments may be at one of several Rapids Classic locations in the Denver Metro Area, including:

Aurora Sports Park
Dick’s Sporting Goods Park
Gates North
Gates South

Your specific location and call time will be provided before the event.
