The primary role of the photographer is to shoot photos and videos and to report accurately on news and events in our region. The San Antonio Express-News is committed to practicing high-level documentary photojournalism, free of personal or political bias. This role will require editorial decisions on selecting photos to run with stories in the print and online edition along with online packages either by working with other photographers or choosing wire and file photos. Ability to work with other photographers in editing work and developing story ideas. Bachelor's Degree 2 Years experience reporting for a newspaper Able to work on short deadlines Excellent written and communication skills needed Experience with story telling techniques
