J&J Auto Wrecking is a family-owned business proudly based in Marshallville, Ohio. As the business continues to grow, we are seeking a full-time Staff Photographer to join our team and support our ongoing product photography needs.

The Staff Photographer is responsible for capturing high-quality product images that support the organization’s marketing, sales, and digital content needs. This role is highly production-focused, with the majority of time dedicated to consistent, detail-oriented product photography rather than artistic or editorial photography.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys structured, repeatable work, has a strong eye for detail, and can maintain quality and consistency across a high volume of images.

Duties/Responsibilities

Capture high-quality, consistent product images for use across e-commerce, marketing materials, catalogs, and internal platformsFollow established photography standards, lighting setups, and style guidelines to ensure uniformity across all product imagesSet up and manage product shoots, including staging, positioning, and preparation of itemsUse appropriate lighting techniques (studio lighting, lightboxes, etc.) to accurately represent productsEdit, crop, and retouch images using photo editing software to meet company standardsManage workflow to meet production timelines and volume expectationsOrganize and maintain digital image files and naming conventions for easy retrievalMaintain photography equipment and ensure studio space is clean, organized, and functionalCollaborate with internal teams as needed to ensure product representation aligns with business needsPerform other related duties as assignedRequired Skills/Abilities

Strong understanding of product photography techniques, lighting, and compositionAbility to produce consistent, high-volume work with attention to detail and accuracyComfortable working in a structured, production-oriented environmentStrong organizational and time management skillsProficiency in photo editing software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop or similar tools preferred)Ability to follow established processes and standards with minimal directionBasic proficiency with Microsoft Office or related systemsPreferred (Not Required)

Experience with e-commerce or catalog product photographyFamiliarity with studio setups, lightboxes, or batch photography workflowsEducation and Experience:

· High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Photography or a closely related field highly preferred.

· At least two years of related experience preferred.

· Portfolio of prior work required.

Physical Requirements:

· Must be able to walk and move about facilities.

· Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.

· May be required to kneel, squat, or stand for extended periods to capture images.
