Staff Photographer/Sales Associate: Majestic Sunset Cruises

Part-time position/Full time for experience key holder

10 to 15 hours per week

Imagery Hawaii photography on the Majestic sunset dinner cruises is looking for a PART TIME team member. Expand your photography skills when capturing and creating memories for the guest aboard the Majestic Cruise. We are looking for an outgoing team member with a passion for photography, experience with DSLR or Mirrorless cameras, and an excellent communicator. Our job, to provide professional digital photographic memories for the guest during their event.

MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK THURSDAY, FRIDAY, SATURDAY, & SUNDAY EVENINGS

PLACE: Pier 6, near Aloha Tower Marketplace

The Majestic departs for the cruises near Aloha Tower Marketplace.

TIME: 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM

COMPENSATION: Minimum wage plus commission, therefore the combined hourly wage including commissions is $20-$30 per hour-depending on total photo sales. The higher wage reflects shift leader position.

STAFF REQUIREMENTS
• Solid communication skills
• Background in customer service and sales
• Perform with little supervision, establish priorities with objectives
• Proficient operating Windows and Mac OS systems
• Experience with digital DSLR and Mirrorless cameras
• Ability to perform simple photo editing in Photoshop
• Available to work Friday nights and holidays

Responsibilities
• Capture high-quality photographs during sunset and whale watch cruises, ensuring optimal lighting and composition.
• Edit and manipulate images using Darkroom and Adobe Photoshop to enhance visual appeal.
• Present finished product using iPad Photo App: introduce a vision, create value, and find the best sales process.
• Provide excellent customer service, assisting guests with inquiries and sales transactions.
• Handle cash and maintain accurate financial records.
• Utilize communication skills to engage with diverse clientele, including bilingual interactions.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure a seamless experience for guests.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
