New Production Crew (Santa Monica) Who We Are With a vision of creating original high-quality content on micro budgets with a strategic focus on product strategy, creative technique, and talent management, Intended for broadcasting, television & film. What We’re Looking For Media Production Co, is seeking to expand and create a reliable in-house media team. We’re hiring: Writers (2), Videographer/Editor, Wardrobe, Hair/Makeup, Gaffer/Lighting, Director, PA’s & Film Distribution Manager. Writers \\- The writer(s) is responsible for: \\- Developing and researching original ideas for film production \\- Creating compelling characters, crafting dialogue and writing an engaging plot \\- Making script revisions on time to meet deadlines Wardrobe \\- The wardrobe stylist is responsible for: \\- Making actor’s appearance look its best for production \\- Having access to clothing, shoes and accessories for talent (male and female) \\- Arranging wardrobe fittings to ensure outfits compliment scenes/body types Hair/Makeup \\- The hair and makeup artist is responsible for: \\- Breaking down the script to identify/create precise hair and makeup looks for cast \\- Completing each look in a timely manner, coordinates schedule with talent \\- Special effects makeup is a plus Gaffer The gaffer is responsible for: \\- Determining the best and quickest way to set up lighting in-between scenes \\- Works directly with the DP and PA(s) \\- Owns professional lighting equipment \\- Responsible for the safety and need to comply with the law of electricity, driving and employment PA The production assistant(s) is responsible for: \\- Assisting cast and crew on set \\- Running errands and preparing supplies and equipment \\- Administrative duties: Answering phones/messages \\- Organizing food and drinks during production *New Production Co, can offer college credit to students to waive fee Boom Operator/Sound Mixer The boom operator is responsible for: \\- Recording all sound (high quality audio) recording on set during production and post production \\- Owns professional audio equipment \\- Works closely with Director and Editor to understand the sound's relationship to the visual \\- Professional experience is required.
