About the position Photograph Center-hosted events, including workshops, speaker series, networking events, competitions, and special programs Capture a variety of shots, including candid moments, speaker presentations, audience engagement, and event details Ensure photos reflect the M&T Bank Centers’ brand, professionalism, and inclusive community Edit and lightly retouch photos as needed (color correction, cropping, exposure) Deliver organized, labeled photo files within established deadlines Coordinate with staff before events to understand run-of-show, key moments, and priorities Maintain and properly use photography equipment (Center-provided) Adhere to university policies regarding photography, privacy, and media usage Collaborate with the Centers Social Media team members to support content needs for social media, websites, and marketing materials Responsibilities • Photograph Center-hosted events, including workshops, speaker series, networking events, competitions, and special programs • Capture a variety of shots, including candid moments, speaker presentations, audience engagement, and event details • Ensure photos reflect the M&T Bank Centers’ brand, professionalism, and inclusive community • Edit and lightly retouch photos as needed (color correction, cropping, exposure) • Deliver organized, labeled photo files within established deadlines • Coordinate with staff before events to understand run-of-show, key moments, and priorities • Maintain and properly use photography equipment (Center-provided) • Adhere to university policies regarding photography, privacy, and media usage • Collaborate with the Centers Social Media team members to support content needs for social media, websites, and marketing materials Requirements • Currently enrolled Quinnipiac University student • Experience with event photography or similar photography work • Strong understanding of composition, lighting, and storytelling through images • Basic photo editing skills using Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, or equivalent software • Ability to work evenings and occasional weekends based on event schedules • Professional demeanor and ability to interact respectfully with speakers, guests, and staff
