Position: Student or Part-time Event Photographer

Location: Events throughout Farmington Valley

About the Role:

We are seeking a passion-driven student or part-time photographer who loves capturing events and people and desires their photography to be published in a local luxury magazine. Photographers will be offered coverage of various events throughout Farmington Valley (Avon, Canton, Farmington, Simsbury, and Granby). Photographers will attend events of their choosing (as a member of the media) and submit images for inclusion in the monthly magazine, and potentially on social channels.

Photo credit will be given always. Multiple positions available. This is currently an unpaid opportunity but open to discussion based on talent and chemistry. Potential to develop into part-time staff position.

Great opportunity to build a portfolio and gain exposure locally as well as work with local magazine professionals. This opportunity is ideal for someone wanting to get their photos published in a local magazine. Ideal for:

Key Responsibilities:

Event Coverage: Document (via photography) exclusive galas, local events, social gatherings, etc. Post-Production: Be able to optimize photos using editing tools to create quality photos using color-grade, retouching, and adjustments (contrast, vibrancy,..), etc. Delivery: Organize and deliver final high-res and web-optimized files to editor
