# Hiring Goal Summer 2026:

Energy Imaging is a locally owned photography company based in Vacaville. We photograph youth sports, schools, senior portraits, studio portraits, and community organizations throughout Solano County and the surrounding area.We're a small team. There are four of us running the business every day, along with an awesome roster of seasonal staff who help during picture days and busy weekends.We're looking for one dependable person to become part of our small team. Not because we're replacing someone. Because the business has grown enough that we need another person we can count on. Photography experience is NOT required. The job title is meant to summarize the role—not define or limit it.

We're much more interested in finding someone who enjoys helping people, likes staying busy, and takes ownership of their work. Our team currently includes youth sports board members, girl scout troop leaders, pta parents, coaches, and community leaders… If we find the right person, we'll teach the rest; and probably learn from you as well.This isn't strictly a photography job. It isn't strictly an office job either. It's a little bit of everything. Every week looks different. Some days are fast-paced. Some days are quieter. Some weeks may be empty. There's always something different to work on.Our days are rarely the same. One day you might be helping hundreds of students through a school picture day. – The next day you could be helping organize equipment, assisting a portrait session, preparing supplies for an upcoming event, or helping customers in the studio.

What we're really looking for is someone who's dependable, enjoys working with people, and likes learning new things.

## What you'll help with

Every day is different, but responsibilities may include:

## Schedule

Our business is seasonal. During slower times of the year you may work anywhere from 0–20 hours per week.

During our busiest seasons—especially August through October and parts of the spring—we often have opportunities for 30–40+ hours.

Some workdays begin early like a school picture day on the first day of school. Some picture days run into the evenings like a youth soccer league coming in for photos. Weekends are part of the job. If you enjoy variety and flexibility, you'll probably enjoy working here.

## Starting Pay

Starting wage is **$20/hour.** As you learn the business and become comfortable taking ownership of different responsibilities, there are opportunities to grow your role and your compensation over time.
