Studio Manager & Associate Photographer

Key result desired: to help busy family photographer 20-30 hours a week (split between 4 days) to keep up with managing client scheduling and client portrait orders (work flow) and even photographing some sessions. As an Associate Photographer (this is a secondary role to being Studio Manager), you will be able to photograph sessions as well (if you have the experience already and it is reflected in your portfolio) and get trained on the studio procedures and practices to take a client from the beginning of the customer experience all the way to the end. Key responsibilities: quickly learn and understand our work flow to maintain timely completion of clients' orders, retouch photos of people and pets with Lightroom and Photoshop as demonstrated by studio owner (or in a way that achieves the same results), have excellent time management to effectively complete orders within a specified amount of time and to the requested degree of competence, take initiative in figuring out problems that may come up to create a workaround if needed. A few other details & expectations: Professional business casual attire requested, but it's a fairly laid back environment. This is the perfect position for a hobbyist/amateur/professional family photographer who is not currently busy with their own projects/business and has the time and desire for a part-time gig that would ideally lead to coming aboard full time.
