We are looking for a STUDIO MANAGER for a high-end photography studio in Boise, Idaho. At Glean and Co, we specialize in maternity and newborn photography, with a dash of family portraits. The responsibilities of this position include: booking consults and sessions, maintaining the studio, assisting during newborn shoots, customer concierge and follow up.

To be successful as a STUDIO MANAGER, you should love helping clients feel safe and comfortable. You’ll be the first person that most of our client’s interact with so customer service is a must. You also need to be willing to roll up your sleeves and set (and clean up) the studio for photography sessions. Our studio’s success also relies on your follow up skills. You must contact clients and help them build their dream photography package.

This position is open to anyone who lives local to the greater Boise area. To get this contract, you must be willing to physically come to the studio (in SE Boise) for newborn sessions. Bookings differ but will occur between Mon - Thur (9:00am - 3:00pm).

PLEASE NOTE: This position is NOT for Micro Marketer. We hire amazing freelancers on behalf of our clients. You will be working with Glean and Co.

Specific Tasks

Welcome customers, make them feel comfortable and at ease
Order lunch, keep everyone fed and watered
Help keep clients on track and happy
Answer client emails and phone calls
Set and re-set studio during photo shoots.
Keep baby safe and happy during photo shoot. Keep parents happy.
Gather BTS photos and videos to be used on social media
Follow up with studio consults - turn potential customers into booked clients
Follow up with clients on ordering their packages
Must be comfortable with sales and (low pressure) upselling

Details

Independent Contractor
$22 - $25/hour depending on experience
Works HYBRID - sometimes in-person at Glean and Co Photography Studio in SE Boise, Idaho and sometimes at home remote
Hour vary based on booked studio sessions: You can expect to work 10 - 15 hours per week. You must be willing to come to the studio Mon - Thur from 9:00 am - 3:00 pm for studio sessions (will vary week to week). Administrative tasks can be completed remotely at home during the hours of your choosing.
Must provide their own tech, will use client’s software and accounts
