The Opportunity The aim of the Studio Manager is to be a positive champion for LDP’s awesome company culture, keep the studio running smoothly, and manage quality control for our unique artistic brand image. Responsibilities • Act as central command for LDP – provide general support to clients, maintain physical state of busy photo studio, manage internal operations, photo quality, and overall customer satisfaction • Oversee photo selection and editing process to ensure brand standards are consistently met • Curate photo galleries for session previews, client galleries, and social media posts • Implement, maintain and refine office/studio operational processes and procedures • Manage HR, payroll, and accounts payable/receivable • Coordinate deliveries and accept packages • Ensure studio is kept clean, orderly, and organized • Serve as a steward for company culture, working to keep this artistic environment positive, fun, efficient, healthy, and forward- moving • Work directly with the CEO to lead and coordinate all administrative efforts and ad hoc duties as required • Design and implement policies in conjunction with leadership • Oversee others, delegating when necessary, managing multiple projects and tasks at once • Never stop looking for ways to make LDP better Requirements • Relevant University or College degree • 2+ years of experience in a similar role; passion for serving as an active pillar of a company’s culture and environment • Self-starter with demonstrated capacity for independent initiative • Must be process-oriented, apt in creating and developing systems to simplify and streamline internal operations • Extreme attention to detail and ability to hyper-focus • Managerial skills for team of 16+, including Executive Management and remote creatives • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Maturity, discretion and tact • Adept at Microsoft Outlook/Office Suite, QuickBooks, Instagram/social media platforms, and technology-at-large; must be Mac proficient • Prompt and timely with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment • Preferably lives within a 30 mile radius of studio (Glendale/La Canada) As creatives we are looking for a professional manager, please note that this position will not lead into any creative role or photography position.
