We are seeking a dynamic Studio Partner / Lead Photographer to partner as a revenue-share side gig. I'm looking for someone with expertise in photography and videography(plus) to co-manage a 1000 sqft Open Art-Studio in the Art District, Downtown Los Angeles. It is in a very desirable part of the DTLA. Near to upcoming business and retail spaces. Located down the street from Dover Street Market. This can be great for someone that is growing their photography business and needs a full time office but lives outside of the city. Great place to host clients as well. We will share photos of the space and location after receiving qualified applicants.

Ideal for a professional photographer with a full-time job looking to generate a high-upside side income.

The Opportunity: Turn your professional lighting, backdrops, and modifiers into a recurring stream of revenue. We provide a dedicated commercial studio space; you bring your gear to outfit the room. Put your equipment to work making you money during our operating hours while you aren't using it.
The Goal: Because we manage fixed rent overhead, we need a business-minded partner who will actively utilize the space for their own paid clients and help drive outside bookings.
Operating Hours: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Core Responsibilities

Equipment & Setup: Outfit the space with professional studio lighting (strobes or continuous), modifiers, stands, and backdrop systems.
Studio Management: Assist in optimizing the room layout for outside renters and co-manage booking platform listings (such as Peerspace).
Manage Social Media co-manage the social media and scheduling to maximize audience engagement and brand visibility.
Maintain Gear photography, lighting equipments and ensuring optimal performance and safety compliance

Position Requirements

Professional Experience: Minimum 5+ years of professional commercial (proven track record of running paid client sessions).
Professional Gear: You must own a complete, studio-ready setup of lighting, grip equipment, and backdrops.
Active Clientele: You must have an active, existing client base.
Entrepreneurial Mindset: Ready to treat this as a serious, active stream of income and collaborate.
