Position: Summer 2026 Photography Intern (Paid) Camp Aldersgate is seeking two talented and motivated Photography Interns to join our team for Summer 2026. This paid internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in photography, visual storytelling, and nonprofit marketing while making a meaningful impact in the lives of children and young adults with special needs and medical diagnoses.This role is ideal for students or emerging professionals looking to strengthen their portfolio in a mission‑driven environment.Position Overview The Summer Photography Intern will be responsible for capturing, editing, and delivering high‑quality visual content that reflects the Camp Aldersgate experience. Interns will document daily camp life, support marketing initiatives, and contribute to storytelling efforts across digital platforms.Key Responsibilities Capture professional‑quality photographs of campers, staff, and activitiesEdit and upload images on a daily basisTake organized group and cabin photosCapture video content for year‑round marketing useSupport additional communications and creative projects as neededDuration: 8 weeks of camp + 1 week of staff trainingDates: June 1 – July 31, 2026Schedule: Sunday–Friday, approximately 40 hours per week, including 2–3 evenings per weekCompensation: $11–$12 per hourQualificationsCompletion of at least one year of college courseworkExperience using a DSLR camera and producing high‑quality imagesIntermediate to advanced proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and/or LightroomStrong understanding of lighting techniques, including indoor and low‑light environmentsAbility to work effectively with children and young adults with special needsVideography experience is preferredEquipmentPreferred: Personal DSLR camera and photography equipmentProvided: Computer with Adobe software for editingWhy Camp AldersgateThis internship provides the opportunity to build a professional portfolio, gain real‑world experience in communications and marketing, and contribute to a mission focused on creating inclusive, barrier‑free experiences.
