Summer Camp Photographer

General Summary : The USM Summer Camps Photographer supports the mission of USM Summer Camps by capturing the energy, excitement, and daily experiences of camp through photography and storytelling. In addition to photography, the position supports camp communications by writing brief newsletter updates, activity highlights, and human-interest stories for families and the marketing team. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Photograph camp activities, special events, and daily camp life.Capture a diverse range of campers, programs, and experiences throughout the summer.Organize, edit, and upload photos according to established procedures.Write short newsletter blurbs and camp highlights for family communications and marketing materials.Collaborate with camp leadership and marketing staff to identify stories and moments worth sharing.Ensure all photography and communications follow school and camp policies regarding privacy and media permissions. Strong photography skills and an eye for capturing candid moments.Excellent written communication skills.Ability to work independently while engaging positively with campers and staff.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Creative, observant, and organized.Experience with photography, communications, journalism, marketing, or related fields preferred.Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment with children.
