Textile and Photography Assistant

We are currently looking for a fashion-conscious Textile and Photography Assistant who possesses previous experience in fashion design/textiles, quality control, and/or packshot photography. This role will be based in New York. The core of this position consists of product-based quality control and packshot photography. Working closely within the product team, the textile & photography assistant is responsible for meticulously conditioning second-hand products, copywriting, and photographing a special range of fashion accessories; A vital and extremely educational position that requires a highly ambitious individual to oversee our consigned luxury products: a curated selection of chic, iconic pieces spanning ready-to-wear, couture, accessories, and leather goods. Key responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to: • Daily completion of quality control procedures for clothing, fashion accessories, and handbags • Carefully examining each pre-loved ReSee piece and classifying its condition according to company standards • Executing various repairs (sewing buttons/tears/etc) and outsourcing repairs and dry-cleaning when necessary • Bi-weekly packshot photography of fashion accessories and handbags • Liaising with multiple team members at our Paris headquarters for photo exports and training • Copywriting e-commerce product descriptions • Consulting and contributing to cross-departmental Excel spreadsheets • Assisting the Head of U.S. Sourcing with archive fashion research • Maintaining set company objectives through excellent individual time management
