Our Assistant Local Manager Will Also • Promote a positive, collaborative environment and maintain our core values and policies • Assist LM with preparations for the opening day including hiring completion, inventories, equipment setup/testing, staff scheduling and training, and learning proper opening/closing procedures • Take photos and provide guests with memorable souvenirs to take home • Photography experience not required • Address and resolve customer concerns or service failures appropriately to ensure optimal guest experiences and recovery • Lead by example and reinforce policies and procedures established by senior management • Troubleshoot technical issues and escalate to IT or Local Management when needed • Assist Local Manager with administrative tasks such as inventory, scheduling, training and/or recruiting • All other duties as assigned What We're Looking For • Positive attitude and strong work ethic • Team player who can work independently and understands the importance of leadership • Excellent time management and problem-solving skills as well as the ability to use good judgment and make strong, independent decisions • Ability to process sales transactions and comfortable with cash handling • Professional attire and good hygiene are a must • Available to attend mandatory pre-season training • Flexibility and willingness to work during "peak" retail hours, such as evenings, weekends, and holidays • Available to work a minimum of 20 hours a week or as needed Knowledge, Experience & Skill • At least 18 years of age • Previous retail/assistant manager and photography experience preferred • Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 10-25 pounds and stand for prolonged periods of time • Ability to stand, walk, and perform easy, guided choreographed movement independently What Else Can You Expect • A fun, fast paced, and passionate environment • Career advancement opportunities • Flexible schedule • Referral program • One free photo package for friends and family per staff member • Must be used 2 weeks before the close of each season We Work Together to Win Together Our mission is simple: to bring magic to every experience by capturing moments that last a lifetime.
