The ideal candidate is a creative storyteller who possesses an exceptional eye for detail. You will be responsible for conceptualizing, capturing, and editing captivating photo and video content that showcases the personality of our brands and products. Candidates are required to submit a portfolio of their work.What you'll be doingSTUDIO WORKCreate eye-catching content in the studio that aligns with overall brand strategy and voice.Capture professional-grade product photography in the studio, including product stills and 360sCapture product demo videos, create sales training tools, and video assets for marketing channels.Own all aspects of the studio; maintaining equipment, staging, styling products prior to shoot, and photographing products according to company standards.LIFESTYLE & FIELD WORKCreate eye-catching lifestyle content in the field that aligns with overall brand strategy and voice.Capture professional-grade photography and video in the field and outdoor spaces with the customer and/or workers and models.Create visually appealing and technically-sound video footage in outdoor spaces with tools like cameras, drones, gimbals, and sliders.EDITING WORKBring creative storytelling to life with strong editing ability to create media for multiple marketing channels.Edit all photo and video assets in a timely fashion in collaboration with the marketing team.Provide concept-to-completion video production; make editorial decisions, rough cuts, audio adjustment, color correction and final editing; utilize graphics and special effects for postproduction; render and encode video projects for output to streaming media and internet delivery.COLLABORATIVE WORKCollaborate with the Director of Marketing to translate concepts into visual design, while owning the realities of production.Handle shoot logistics; scout locations, create shot lists, pull product, load and bring product to site.Perform other duties as assigned in support of the overall success of the role and related output.Minimum Qualifications5+ years photography and videography experience shooting apparel, gear, and outdoor products.2+ years experience capturing drone footage.Highly capable with industry-standard design and editing software (Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro, Corel, Pinnacle, or similar).Efficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).Innovative storyteller with outstanding creativity and an eye for detail.Excellent interpersonal skills, personal maturity and ability to engage in self-observation and improvement.Ability to communicate clearly and concisely to convey ideas, both written and verbally.Strong multitasking skills, ability to meet and adhere to deadlines.Radical ownershipAbility to occasionally travel (up to 10%) within and out of state.Meet the physical aspect of job functions; hold five pounds in one hand (photography and videography), occasional bending, stooping, squatting, lifting, and carrying.
