Be our next **Video Editor**

**Role Overview**

EXP is seeking an experienced Video Editor to join Corporate Marketing’s growing creative team. Reporting to the Senior Creative Director and collaborating closely with the Video Producer, this role edits, adapts, organizes and delivers high-quality video content that elevates the EXP brand, clarifies technical concepts and strengthens storytelling across business, marketing and communications initiatives.

The ideal candidate combines strong storytelling instincts with exceptional technical editing skills and a passion for creating polished, audience-focused content. Beyond editing, this role plays an important part in managing media assets, identifying content gaps and helping maintain an organized, scalable media library that supports future storytelling efforts across the organization.

**What You’ll Work On**

**You’ll help shape the stories that showcase EXP's people, projects and impact around the world.** Examples include: client and project success stories, employee highlight reels, social media and digital marketing content for website, targeted pursuit and business development videos, conference and event videos, internal training and educational videos, and more. 

**Key Responsibilities**

* Transform raw footage and photo into compelling stories through strong pacing, narrative structure and visual storytelling.
* Perform audio cleanup, color correction, graphics integration, titling and final video finishing.
* Create platform-specific content variations, including social cutdowns, highlight reels, GIFs and short-form edits.
* Organize, tag, catalog and maintain video, photography, audio and graphic assets.
* Manage file structures, metadata, naming conventions and archive standards.
* Identify gaps in available footage, imagery, graphics or other visual assets and recommend solutions.
* Assist in sourcing stock footage, imagery, music and supporting content.
* Create and review captions, subtitles, transcripts and accessibility features.
* Conduct quality assurance reviews and ensure all deliverables meet brand and technical standards.
* Collaborate closely with the Video Producer, creative and corporate teams, subject matter experts and internal stakeholders throughout the production process.

**Required Qualifications**

* 3-7+ years of professional editing or post-production experience
* Advanced proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe Creative Suite applications
* Experience producing content for digital, social and marketing channels
* Strong understanding of post-production workflows, asset organization and video delivery best practices
* Strong portfolio demonstrating storytelling ability, editorial judgment and polished finished work

**Ingredients for Success**

* Strong storytelling instincts, editorial judgment and technical editing expertise across audio, color, finishing and export workflows.
* Proven ability to organize and manage media libraries, archives, metadata and digital assets using DAM and content-management best practices.
* A proactive, solutions-oriented approach to identifying missing assets and resolving content challenges.
* Excellent organization and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong collaboration and communication skills.
* Experience with After Effects, motion graphics, animation or kinetic typography is a plus; experience in AEC, professional services or B2B environments is an asset.
* Curiosity about emerging creative technologies, AI-enabled workflows and continuous improvement.
