About the Role

This is an opportunity for a creative, hands-on videographer and multimedia storyteller who enjoys taking ideas from concept through final production.

You'll play a key role in bringing Deployable Energy's story to life through video, photography, interviews, social content, and other visual media. You'll work directly with company leadership, technical teams, and the broader communications function to translate complex technical and operational work into compelling visual stories.

This isn't a role where you'll simply be handed a shot list. We're looking for someone who can recognize a story, develop the creative concept, capture it, and turn it into polished content.

The role offers significant creative ownership and visibility, with the opportunity to document and shape the story of a growing company during an exciting stage of development.

What You'll Own

A successful person in this role will:

Develop, shoot, and edit video content across digital and external communicationsProduce short-form and long-form content for social media, web, presentations, events, recruiting, and company storytellingCapture interviews with executives, engineers, employees, partners, and other stakeholdersTranslate complex technical concepts into accessible and engaging visual storiesOwn projects from concept and storyboarding through filming, editing, sound, graphics, and final deliveryCapture high-quality photography alongside video when neededDevelop creative concepts that strengthen Deployable Energy's visual identity and brandCreate content optimized for different platforms and audiencesMaintain and organize video, photography, and multimedia assetsCollaborate with leadership and communications teams on campaigns, announcements, presentations, and strategic initiativesIdentify storytelling opportunities proactively rather than waiting for assignmentsTrack audience engagement and use performance insights to improve future content
