Videographer/ Photographer (contingent 034)

**Title: Videographer/ Photographer**

Location: APG, MD

**Responsibilities:**

* Proven professional shooting experience.
* Knowledge of photography and videography techniques.
* Archives images and organizes files.
* Ability to work closely with graphics and public affairs teams to understand specifications and develop concepts to create visual narratives.
* Proficient with operation and maintenance of traditional and modern equipment. Shooting, lighting and printing skills.
* Must be able to prepare and edit video content for broadcast, web, social media and other applications, including ability to adjust sound/color, add after effects, cut segments, etc.
* Strong understanding of timing, pacing and storytelling in animation.
* A secret security clearance is required.

**Education/Experience:**

* bachelor’s degree in graphic design, photography, videography, art, advertising or a related field.
* A minimum of four (4) years' experience in the field of photography, videography, video editing or related fields.
* **Substitution**: Additional years' experience and portfolio can be substitute for degree and field of study.
* Proficiency in Adobe Premier, After Effects, Edius, Lightroom, Photoshop, Capture One or other photography/videography and editing specific software.
* Portfolio of work may be requested.
* A secret security clearance is required.
