This role owns visual content creation for Birdstop’s brand, marketing, and communications efforts. You will be responsible for capturing and editing high-quality photo and video content across Birdstop’s manufacturing facilities, drone flight operations, and external events including product demos, speaking engagements and trade shows. Prior experience shooting industrial, technology, or aerospace subject matter is preferred. Capture high quality close up photos and videos of the drone system to use in marketing materials.Capture photo and video content at Birdstop’s Detroit manufacturing facility, covering production processes, equipment, and team operations.Film and photograph live drone flights and autonomous system demonstrations in the field.Travel with the Birdstop team to external events including trade shows, speaking engagements, conferences, and customer demos to capture real-time coverage.Shoot and edit long-form video content for content like documentary-style use cases.Produce short-form vertical video content optimized for social media engagement.Edit all footage and photography to professional standards, including color grading, audio mixing, motion graphics, and caption integration as needed.Deliver assets in multiple formats and resolutions to support website, email, social, paid media, and presentation use.Maintain an organized asset library of all raw and edited files, properly labeled and archived for team access.Coordinate shoot logistics with the marketing team, including scheduling, location scouting, and subject coordination. Portfolio demonstrating professional-grade photography and videography across both long-form and short-form formats.Proficiency in industry-standard editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Lightroom, or equivalent).Must own and provide all necessary equipment including camera body, lenses, lighting, audio, etc.Ability to capture and edit both horizontal and vertical video formats for distinct platform use cases.Comfortable working in industrial, outdoor, and live event environments with variable lighting and unpredictable conditions.Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.Reliable transportation and ability to travel to event locations as needed.Ability to work from Birdstop’s headquarters in Detroit, Michigan.Work authorization in the United States (no visa sponsorship available).
