Videographer/Photographer

The Science Academies of New York (SANY) seeks a creative and technically skilled Videographer/Photographer to join our dynamic Marketing and Public Relations Department. Required Skills: BA/BS in Photography, Film, Media, Communications, or a related field.2+ years of professional photography and videography experience.Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Lightroom).Familiarity with AI tools for media production (e.g., Descript, Runway, Fliki, Heygen).Strong understanding of composition, lighting, color theory, and visual storytelling.Hands-on experience with DSLR/mirrorless cameras, audio equipment, lighting kits, and gimbals.Skilled in editing videos for social media, especially short, vertical formats.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.Excellent time management, organizational, and communication skills.Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various school sites.Fingerprint clearance through the New York State Department of Education is required.
