Virtual Public Relations Internship Opportunity

A boutique, Honolulu-based public relations agency is now accepting applications from enthusiastic and motivated college students for a public relations internship. Due to the current pandemic this internship will be 100% virtual, though interns will still receive have facetime via Zoom calls and meetings, and gain valuable, real-world experience working on day-to-day PR projects for clients including nonprofits and for-profit businesses throughout Hawaii. No previous work experience is required, however knowledge of public relations, copywriting, social media, photography and graphic design is preferred. The ideal candidate would be familiar with current events, organized, have great attention to detail and be able to prioritize while managing multiple projects. Candidates MUST: • Be willing to work hours in (HST) Hawaii Standard Time • Possess a strong interest in public relations and a desire to pursue a career in the field • Have excellent written communication and research skills • Be willing to work hard • Possess strong organizational skills • Be detail oriented • Be able to multi-task • Receive college credit • Commit to the position for a minimum of three months and be available to work at least 12 hours a week.
