Visual Arts Faculty Member - Photography

Millbrook School seeks a photography teacher for the 2026-27 academic year. Photography at Millbrook is a vibrant program that serves students at the beginning of their journeys as artists as well as those who are advanced and may attend art school. Full-time faculty members are also expected to participate in community service, evening responsibilities, activities, assemblies, and attend required meetings and workshops. Advising: All faculty are expected to have between one and six advisees per year, to communicate regularly with advisees' families, and to write three advisor letters for each over the course of the year. PHYSICAL & SENSORY REQUIREMENTS (with or without the aid of a mechanical device) Must function independently and be able to move intermittently throughout the workday.Must be able to cope with the mental and emotional stress of the position.Must possess sight/hearing senses or use prosthetics that will enable these senses to function adequately so that the requirements of this position can be fully met.Must be able to work in person, on campus.Must be flexible and willing to adapt to new technology, teaching methods and/or schedules.Must be able to physically teach, coach, advise, attend meetings & be an active member of residential life.
